Saw 6 Green Herons in total fly over. Seemed like they were looking to get settled in for the night
Lots of Tufted Titmouse activity. I think the babies that were in the tree cavity by the shelter have fully fledged, as there were several birds in the general area, out to feast between the pine and deciduous trees. Fun to watch and listen!

Lifer and Rare for this time of year! I found a Red Crossbill eating seeds from cones on Norway spruces. Totally did not expect to come across this!
In early spring, I saw and heard Tufted Titmouses. Lately, I've only heard them. Today, I found their nesting cavity and got some pics. So cool!
